§ Mr. Peter ReesThe United States Department of Commerce announced on 1 February that virtually all the petitions against imports of the United Kingdom steel products listed in the answer which I gave to the hon. Member on 29 January have been accepted for investigation. I understand that the only petition to be withdrawn is the anti-dumping petition against imports of hot-rolled sheet. The exact coverage of some of these investigations is not clear and we are awaiting fuller details.
