Mr. Jim Callaghanasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether assistance from public funds in the form of a grant or otherwise will be available to persons who are seeking to exercise their rights to register as British citizens, in order that their rights to register will not be allowed to lapse for lack of financial means.
