asked the Secretary of Stale for Social Services if he will list the expenditure on cash benefits for disabled people in each year since 1973–74 (a) in cash terms and (b) at 1973–74 prices.

The information requested is as follows. It includes benefits paid to the long-term sick as well as to disabled people, as defined in table 12.12.1, page 49, of "The Government's Expenditure Plans" White Paper—Cmnd. 8494-II.
