§ Mr. PymAs my right hon. Friend the Prime Minister made clear in the House on 7 December, we hope that the visit will be rearranged soon. We are in close touch with the Moroccan Government, but no firm dates have as yet been arranged.
§ 23. Mr. Aitkenasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what representations he has received concerning the postponement of the official visit to the United Kingdom by a delegation of Arab Ministers led by King Hassan of Morocco; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. PymWe wished to receive an Arab League delegation in London, and still hope to do so. We remain in contact with those concerned and are discussing with the Moroccan Government the reinstatement of the delegation's visit on a mutually acceptable basis.
