§ Mr. Peter MorrisonWe have adopted a target of 460,000 places under the youth training scheme in 1983–84 and are continuing to work towards meeting it. We are making particular efforts to secure places in industry and commerce, to give young people training in the parts of the economy on which our future prosperity depends.
