§ Mr. Hoosonasked the Secretary of State for Wales how many personal injury accidents, fatal and otherwise, have occurred on the trunk roads between Denbigh and Llanrwst during each of the last 10 years.
§ Mr. Michael RobertsThe roads concerned are not trunk roads and so the accident details are not available centrally. They can be obtained from the highway authority, Clwyd county council.
§ Mr. Hoosonasked the Secretary of State for Wales what plans there are for the repair and maintenance of trunk roads in Powys for implementation in each of the next three years; and what is the estimated cost to his Department of each scheme.
§ Mr. Michael RobertsPlans for repairs and maintenance of trunk roads in Powys are made annually in the light of estimates submitted by the county council, as the Secretary of State's agent. The county council has been advised that, subject to the decision of Parliament on the Supply Estimates, the level of funds available for maintenance for 1983–84 will be of the same order as the current year. The level of expenditure on maintenance of trunk roads in Powys this year is expected to be £2.37 million.
