§ Q32. Mr. Wigleyasked the Prime Minister how many written representations she has received as to the forecast expenditure on the maintenance of a garrison in the Falkland Islands.
§ The Prime MinisterI have received over 37,000 letters since April, when the Falkland Islands were invaded. It is impossible to say with certainty how many of these touched on the question of the garrison and its cost, but we only have records of having received six such letters.
