§ Mrs. Chalker416 payments of compensation have been made to people in the Great Barr and Perry Beeches areas of Birmingham who have taken advantage of the further opportunity to claim under part I of the Land Compensation Act 1973, as amended by section 113 of the Local Government, Planning and Land Act 1980. These payments range from £91 to £1,670. A total of £164,222 has been paid out, including £67,222 interest.
