§ Mr. Proctor
asked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether there are any cases awaiting judgment pending against him in (a) European courts outside the United Kingdom and (b) the European 606W Commission of Human Rights; if he will list any such cases in the Official Report; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. Heseltine
I am aware of only one current European case against the United Kingdom involving matters for which I am primarily responsible. This relates to the Leasehold Reform Act and is likely to be heard by the European Commission of Human Rights early next year.
