§ Mr. RidleyInformation on which to base a firm estimate is not available, but disregarding any new borrowing that the raising of the limit might generate it seems unlikely that the revenue cost would exceed £100 million for an increase to £35,000, or £150 million for an increase to £50,000. The eventual cost, including the effect of any new borrowing, is likely to be higher.
