Mr. Wigley

asked the Minister for Trade if he will publish a table showing in constant money terms the value of manufactured goods (a) imported into the United Kingdom and (b) exported from the United Kingdom in 1981 compared with corresponding figures for 1961 and 1971.

The earliest year for which data are available is 1963, therefore that year has been shown instead of 1961. The information requested is as follows:
