§ Mr. John MooreIn September of this year the United Kingdom and Chile exchanged notes on the assurances required in fulfilment of the United Kingdom's obligations to the Nuclear Suppliers Group to cover the supply of enriched fuel to Chile. The fuel will be subject to safeguards under an agreement between the IAEA and Chile which was approved by the IAEA's board of Governors in September. The UKAEA has now concluded a contract to supply this fuel to the Atomic Energy Commission of Chile.
