§ Mr. Carter-Jonesasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what is his policy towards the recommendations made by the International Social Security Association on its study of protection against occupational risks in Europe; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. RossiThe International Social Security Association enables its members, of which the Department is one, to exchange information and ideas on all aspects of social security. The reports of the association's conferences, such as the regional meeting held in Florence in 1981 on protection against occupational risks in Europe, are closely studied by the Department when considering the desirability of and the scope for changes in our scheme of industrial injuries benefits.
