§ The Prime MinisterThe main ministerial duties of the Chancellor of the Duchy are concerned with the control of the management of the Duchy estates and, within the counties of Lancashire, Greater Manchester and Merseyside, the appointments of magistrates to the Commissions of the Peace and the appointments of high sheriffs.
