§ Mr. Fieldasked the Attorney-General whether Her Majesty's Government will decide in April to build on the old market site in Birkenhead to provide permanent offices for the Land Registry; and if he will make a statement.
The Solicitor-GeneralDiscussions are currently taking place between Her Majesty's Treasury, the Property Services Agency and Her Majesty's Land Registry as to the requirements for accommodation at the Birkenhead district land registry. A decision will be made at the earliest possible date and Wirral council will be informed.
