§ Mr. Kilroy-Silkasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will initiate research into the reasons why 49 per cent. of all complaints against the police in England and Wales in 1980 and 54 per cent. of the complaints against the Metropolitan Police were withdrawn.
§ Mr. MayhewMy right hon. Friend has at present no plans to do so.
