§ Mrs. ChalkerThe GLC is responsible for traffic management in London and is also the highway authority for the south circular road. It has commissioned a panel of inquiry to report to it on the effects of heavy lorry bans in London. For my part, I am giving the highest priority to completion of the M25 around London, which will offer a new route for lorries that do not have business in London.
