Mr. Warren

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department (1) if he will take an initiative during the United Kingdom Presidency of the EEC Council of Ministers to secure rights for EEC citizens living outside their own nation to have full voting rights in the EEC nation in which they are resident;

(2) if he will take an initiative during the United Kingdom Presidency of the EEC Council of Ministers to secure voting rights for EEC employees in their home nation.

My right hon. Friend has no plans to do so.
