HC Deb 26 October 1981 vol 10 c259W

Mr. John Garrett asked the Minister for the Civil Service what arrangements have been made to reduce the work of Her Majesty's Stationery Office for the Department of the Environment; and what effect they will have on the profitability of Her Majesty's Stationery Office.

Mr. Hayhoe:

The general arrangements on untying were set out in my answer to the hon. Member' s question on 11 March 1981.—[Vol. 1000, c. 347.] The arrangements for early untying of about one-third of Her Majesty's Stationery Office publishing and procurement for the Department of the Environment are still under consideration and, I understand, some purchases have been made.
