Mr. Nigel Spearing

asked the Secretary of State for Transport if he will tabulate in the Official Report the cost-ratio of present cross-Channel modes of transport for personal and general wheeled cargo together with (a) the comparable land transport cost for 25 miles in the United Kingdom and (b) the expected cost-ratio for each of the Channel crossing proposals.
