§ Mr. Raceasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he is satisfied with the casualty services provided for patients in the Enfield and Haringey area health authority, especially in relation to the recent incidents at Seven Sisters underground station on Saturday 21 November when one football supporter died and many others were injured.
§ Dr. VaughanI am not aware of any shortcomings in these services. Following the incident referred to by the hon. Member the ambulance service elected to take casualties to a hospital in another area where I understood they received satisfactory treatment.
