§ Dr. VaughanA data sheet is an information document in a standard format intended to provide practitioners with an objective statement of essential particulars about a medicine, including its uses, dosage, contra-indications and warnings. I have no reason to believe that their wording causes any general difficulties to practitioners. So far as patients are concerned, the extent of any information which it may be desirable for them to be given can vary in individual cases, and I am content to leave this to the clinical judgment of the practitioners who are treating them.
