§ Mr. Fauldsasked the Secretary of State for Trade in view of difficulties encountered by the Office of Fair Trading in being voluntarily furnished with all necessary information by the British Antique Dealers' Association and the Society of London Art Dealers for the purposes of investigation into the alleged collusion by Christie's and Sotheby's in connection with the introduction in 1975 of the buyers' premium, whether he will introduce legislation to provide that the Office of Fair Trading may require the provision of such information.
§ Mrs. Sally OppenheimMy right hon. Friend has no plans for legislation at present, although he continues to keep the working of the Restrictive Trade Practices Act 1976 under review.
