§ Mr. Alison[pursuant to his reply, 17 November 1981]: It is estimated that in Great Britain about a half of all 16 to 19-year-olds are in full-time employment; more precise information is not available. On 8 October 586,460 persons aged 16 to 19, or 16 per cent. of the age group, were registered as unemployed.
