§ Mr. Geoffrey Finsberg[pursuant to his reply, 10 November 1981, Vol. 12, c. 80]: I understand that the dental caries vaccine being developed by the Wellcome Foundation Pharmaceutical Company will not be ready for tests in man until extensive laboratory investigations for safety have been satisfactorily completed. Any clinical trials must satisfy the requirements of the Medicines Act relating to safety.
