HC Deb 17 November 1981 vol 13 c81W
Mr. Wheeler

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he has received the first reports of Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Prisons; and what arrangements he proposes to make for the publication of such reports.

Mr. Whitelaw

I have now received reports from Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Prisons on Her Majesty's prisons Featherstone, Erlestoke House and Cookham Wood. I have placed copies of these reports together with statements of the action taken on Her Majesty's chief inspector's main recommendations in the Libraries of both Houses. Members of the public may purchase copies from the Home Office library, Room 1007, 50 Queen Anne's Gate, London SW1H 9AT. The same arrangements will apply to future reports on individual establishments by Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Prisons.
