§ Mr. Ashleyasked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will list, for each year since 1974, the number and percentage of firms not fulfilling the requirement to employ 3 per cent. of registered disabled people (a) to whom permits had not been issued during the previous 12 months and (b) to whom permits had been issued during the previous 12 months; and of the latter firms with permits, what were the numbers and percentages of the firms that had been issued with bulk permits.
§ Mr. Alison[pursuant to his reply, 11 November 1981. c. 103 –4.]: The information in respect of employers who had a duty under the Disabled Persons (Employment) Act 1944 to employ a quota (3 per cent. of their total staffs) of registered disabled people is as follows:
