Mr. Hicks

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list the 12 most recent decisions that his Department has made in respect of applications by district councils for grant-aid for coastal protection schemes; and what is the amount of grant and the percentage the grant represents of the total cost of the scheme.
