§ Mrs. Sally OppenheimIt would be impracticable to require child resistant closures for dangerous household products without a suitable standard. I think, therefore, we should now await the outcome of the work being carried out on a standard by the International Standards Organisation. Only when this work is complete can the case for requiring these closures be properly considered. What I regard as much more important is to require suitable warning labelling on such products as bleach and I intend to introduce regulations to this effect during the current Session of Parliament.
