§ Mr. Gordon Wilsonasked the Minister for the Civil Service why the index for Weekly Hansard for 12 to 15 January has only now been produced; why there are recurrent delays in production of the index; and if he will take steps to provide a better service to the House.
§ Mr. HayhoeThe delay was attributable to the combined effect of switching to a new contractor and to the weight of parliamentary printing at the time. These difficulties are being resolved with a view to providing a better service in future.
