§ Mr. Raceasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science (1) what discussions have taken place between the Government and the National Nursery Examination Board concerning the implementation of the findings of the inquiry into the role and functions of that board;
(2) if he will make a statement concerning the Government's views on the internal inquiry into the role and functions of the National Nursery Examination Board.
§ Dr. BoysonThe inquiry was set up by the board and it is for it to consider its findings. The board has written to the Department about those recommendations which are of concern to the Department and my officials have begun discussions with the board about them.
