§ Mr. Peter MorrisonPayments under the statutory redundancy provisions of the Employment Protection (Consolidation) Act 1978 are based on the employee's age and earnings as well as length of service. Payments in excess of the statutory minimum depend on the arrangements concluded within the industry concerned, and will again involve a number of variable factors.
