asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether ex-officers or ranks serving in the reserves are permitted to participate in activities for world disarmament.

The Minister of State, Ministry of Defence (Viscount Trenchard):

There is no regulation preventing such activities provided that they are consistent with reserve obligations.
