England Wales (a) Feasibility studies 91 per cent. 2.3 per cent. (1735 projects) (44 projects) (b) Development projects 96 per cent. 1 per cent. (408 projects) (5 projects) Grants for (b) Training courses 85 per cent. 4.5 per cent. (152 courses) (8 courses) In addition, support has been given to awareness activities in Wales, the most recent being seminars with free consultancy sessions for small companies, while eight Welsh schools were among the 100 winners in the MAP schools computer competition, including one of the six star prize winners. Of the total employed in the computer industry, 80.7 per cent. are in England and 1.1 per cent. in Wales—March 1981.
