§ Mr. Peter ReesAbout 54,900 Inland Revenue employees, or 72 per cent. of total staff, have been involved in industrial action during the current dispute. Most cases involved absence for one or two days only but at 11 June 2,149 Revenue employees, or 3 per cent. of total staff, were on indefinite strike or had been temporarily relieved from duty without pay.
