The voluntary services unit has made the following grants to the Centre:
£ 1975–76 3,600 1976–77 32,991 1977–78 44,021 1978–79 55,320 1979–80 68,750 1980–81 86,700 Total 291,382 The grants, which attract retrospective contributions of 50 per cent. from the Commission of the European Communities, have been towards the centre's costs of providing advice and support to self-help groups. There are no plans for further funding by this Department.
