§ Mr. Wigleyasked the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, further to his reply to the right hon. Member for the Western Isles (Mr. Stewart) on 9 June, on what basis it was decided to publish the visitors' guide for use in the public galleries in French, German and Arabic as well as English, but not in Welsh.
§ Mr. PymThe foreign language versions of the guide were produced in accordance with a recommendation in the Services Committee's eighth report of Session 1976–77 247W (paragraph 27). I understand that the intention was to make the guide available in those languages for which there was the greatest demand.
