HL Deb 15 June 1981 vol 421 cc525-6WA
Lord O'Hagan

asked Her Majesty's Government:

What steps are being taken to make it worthwhile to export sheepmeat from Britain to the rest of the EEC.

Earl Ferrers

We have made it clear to the Commission that we are looking to them to find, and to implement urgently, satisfactory means of fulfilling their obligation to solve the problems raised by the clawback arrangements which are adversely affecting our export trade in sheepmeat.
