HC Deb 12 June 1981 vol 6 c222W
Mr. Hill

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many prosecutions there have been in Hampshire for the sale of alcohol to persons under the age of 18 years in each of the last five years (a) in bars of licensed premises and (b) in supermarkets; and how many licensees have been deprived of their licences in each of the last five years for not applying the laws relating to the sale of alcohol to young persons.

Mr. Mayhew

In 1979, 12 persons were proceeded against in Hampshire for the offence of knowingly selling intoxicating liquor to a person under 18; information for earlier years could be provided only at disproportionate cost. The other information requested is not collected centrally.
