The members are the Lord Allen of Fallowfield CBE, retired, Mr. Brian Crack FCA, business man, Mr. John F. Avery Jones, MA, LLB, FTII, solicitor, and Mr. Ernest V. Symons CB, retired. Lord Allen is a governor of the BBC, a Crown Estate commissioner and a member of the board of the British Airports Authority. Mr. Symons is a member of the Civil Service appeal board.
