Mr. Ron Brownasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will grant financial and other aid to fishing co-operatives to help develop the marketing of produce.
§ Mr. Buchanan-SmithUnder the provisions of the Fisheries Bill the Sea Fish Industry Authority will have powers to provide financial assistance to fishing co-operatives for the sale of sea fish. Grants are also available from the European Community towards investment in eligible marketing and processing projects.
