§ The Prime MinisterOf those appointments made by the Government, including the National Health Service, some 314 people are paid more than the emoluments I will actually draw if Parliament approves the proposals set out in my announcement of 15 May and some 15 people are paid more than the total salary attached to the Office of Prime Minister. Figures for local authority appointments are not available centrally.
