§ Mr. Cryerasked the Attorney-General if he will introduce legislation to ensure that all outstanding amounts of maintenance payments are dealt with by a court when considering arrears of maintenance payments under the summons procedure.
The Solicitor-GeneralIf the hon. Gentleman is referring to plans to amend section 32 of the Matrimonial Causes Act 1973, there are at present no such plans under consideration. If the hon. Gentleman has some other proposal in mind perhaps he would be good enough to write to me or the Lord Chancellor with particulars of the proposal he has in mind.
