§ Mr. Dickensasked the Secretary of State for Trade if he will seek to amend the Copyright Acts so that educational institutions may make recordings of audio visual television broadcasts without infringing copyright where the recordings are solely for educational use.
§ Mr. EyreA comprehensive review of the whole of copyright law is now nearing completion and I expect to publish within the next few months a consultative document setting out our views and inviting public comment. The document will deal with the general problem of audio-video recording in the light of technological developments.
