§ Mr. Fosterasked the Secretary of State for Employment, pursuant to his reply to the hon. Member for Huddersfield, East (Mr. Sheerman) on 10 April, Official Report, c. 363, if he will supply the results of the survey commissioned to establish the proportion of workers in firms which have been supported by the temporary short-time working compensation scheme whose employment is continued after the period of compensation under the scheme has ended; and, if the results are not yet completed, when they will be made available.
§ Mr. Peter MorrisonA survey has been commissioned and a pilot survey is currently taking place. The main field work will take place this summer and results will be made available as soon as practicable.
