Member for Hackney, Central (Mr. Davis) on 20 July, Official Report, column 23, what progress he has made in his discussions on how the report on the Tenerife air disaster was released prematurely; and whether he can yet identify who disclosed the report and the cockpit voice recorded tapes.
§ Mr. EyreWe have not yet been able to establish how the report was released prematurely or how the cockpit voice recorder tapes were disclosed, although I am satisfied that these were not disclosed by my Department.
