asked the Secretary of State for Defence whether the computer programme for cruise missiles will be supplied by the United States Government.

Mr. Blaker

The United States Government are responsible for the development and production of the ground-launched cruise missiles to be based in the United Kingdom from 1983, including the computers and associated software.
