The Minister of State, Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (Earl Ferrers)The Government's plans aim to prevent mass starvation following nuclear attack. They provide for emergency feeding where necessary, and they also take account of the need for adequate stocks of food in all regions in order to cover periods in which the movement of food supplies may be disrupted.
