§ Mr. Stan Thorneasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether the psychiatric unit at Sharoe Green hospital, Preston, an annexe of Whittingham hospital, has been authorised to operate a form of black list in respect of former patients; and whether he will make a statement.
§ Dr. VaughanNo hospital is authorised to operate a black list of patients and I am assured that no such list exists at Sharoe Green hospital. If the hon. Member has a particular case in mind perhaps he will write to the chairman of the area health authority with details.
