asked the right hon. Member for Middlesbrough, as representing the House of Commons Commission, whether, pursuant to his reply to the hon. Member for West Stirlingshire on 15 June, Official Report, c. 723, the Commission has now met trades union representatives of the staff.

Information on the updating of registers is not held centrally and I am not aware that any county council has applied for financial assistance.
